    How to use

Three simple steps. No account, no login.

    Step 1

    Install the Extension

Add Free Whop Downloader to Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera from the Chrome Web Store. Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm.

    Step 2

    Open a Lesson

Go to any Whop course video and press play. For PDFs, just open the lesson — the extension detects the file automatically.

    Step 3

    Download

Click the floating button on the page, or open the extension popup and choose Video, Audio-only, Video-only, or PDF.

    What you can download

Four download types. Two of them are always unlimited and free.

    3 free / week

    Combined video + audio

A single MP4 with video and audio merged together. Every user gets 3 per week for free, forever. Pro removes the weekly limit.

    Always free

    Audio only

Grab just the audio from a lesson. Unlimited, no weekly cap, no Pro needed.

    Always free

    Video only

The raw video without audio. Also unlimited and free. Merge audio + video yourself later with a free tool like VLC or HandBrake.

    1 credit each

    Course PDFs

Download PDFs attached to a lesson straight from the page, using the same credit system as combined videos.

    Going Pro

Pro unlocks unlimited combined downloads and speeds up to 5× faster than the free tier. There's also a one-time lifetime option — pay once, download forever. Audio-only and video-only stay free for everyone either way.

    Tips & Troubleshooting

Common issues and how to fix them.

    Floating button not visible?

Some browsers (like Arc) hide injected page elements. Use the popup instead — click the extension icon and pick your download.

    Extension says "No Video Detected"?

Play the video first — the extension needs to see the stream load. Then refresh the page and play again if it still doesn't appear.

Stuck on "Merging tracks…" on a big video?

Very large videos can be heavy to merge in-browser. You can choose to merge in-browser anyway, install the optional local helper for unlimited size, or download video + audio as two separate files and merge them yourself.

    Download stuck or slow?

Large videos take time — the extension downloads every segment and merges them. Keep the tab open and don't close the browser until it finishes.

    PDF button not showing?

Open the lesson that contains the PDF and give it a second to load. The floating "Download PDF" button appears on pages where a PDF is detected.

    Where are my downloads saved?

Files are saved to your default browser downloads folder as MP4 (video/audio) or PDF. Your browser may show a "Save As" dialog so you can choose the location.
